Learn the Steps of Our Franchise Process
We understand, starting a business can seem overwhelming. That’s why we’ve taken a moment to clearly break down our franchise steps so you know exactly what to expect when you choose to franchise with Uni K Wax. Throughout this franchise process, we’ll get to know each other and determine if you’re a good fit for our brand – and if our brand is a good fit for you.
Step One: Initial Discovery Call
Once you fill out the form below, one of our franchise representatives will call you to discuss our franchise opportunity. During this call we’ll review your potential franchise territory, financial qualifications, and previous business experience. From this call we’ll determine if it’s best for both parties to proceed with the franchise discovery process.
Step Two: Information Reques
To confirm what was discussed on our initial phone call, we’ll send you a Confidential Request for Information Form. You’ll need to fill this form out completely and send it back to us for review.
Step Three: FDD Review
At this franchise step, you’ll receive a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) to review. This document clearly outlines all important information about us as a franchisor. You’ll want to carefully analyze each item of the FDD to ensure that the Uni K Wax franchise opportunity is the right one for you. You’ll need to complete the receipt pages in Item 23 before signing a franchise agreement with our brand.
Step Four: Discovery Day
This is the fun part. If you decide, after reviewing the FDD, that you’d like to continue with our franchise process, you’ll make a visit to our headquarters in Aventura, FL to meet a lot of our corporate staff here and learn more in depth details about what it’s like to be part of the Uni K Wax franchise system. You’ll get to meet directly with our Design and Construction, Marketing, Field Operations, Waxer Training, Support, and Management teams. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to review demographic information for your desired territory. During this step, you’ll also get a tour through one of our studios to see hands on what it’s like to own a Uni K Wax location.
Step Five: Execute Franchise Agreement
Shortly after Discovery Day, we’ll deliberate and determine if we’ll award you with a franchise agreement. Once we’ve decided that you’d make a great fit for our franchise, we’ll execute our franchise agreement for you to sign. During this timeframe, you’ll want to review the agreement carefully to ensure all information is correct.
Step Six: Time to Get Started
Congratulations! After signing your franchise agreement, you’ll receive a copy of the Uni K Wax Franchising Welcome Kit and you’ll also attend your Welcome Call with our team. After you’ve completed your orientation and training, you’ll work with all of our teams towards opening your first studio!
